The Grove

The Grove in Bournemouth has recently been acquired by Macmillan Caring Locally. It is undergoing an extensive five month refurbishment programme, and is due to open at the end of  May 2011. The Grove will be as the Albany Lodge is, a non profit making holiday hotel for people with cancer (and other life threatening illnesses) and their families or carers.

Macmillan Caring Locally has owned Albany Lodge, which has been operating a similar service since 1986. Once the Grove is open, Albany Lodge will close and be sold to help fund the refurbishment programme at the Grove.

Farewell to Albany Lodge Breaks

 We will be running two Farewell to Albany Lodge weeks, at a special rate of £300 per person per week or a daily rate of £50 per person per day for less than 7 days
